Nowadays, the biggest issue faced by cryptocurrency fans and enthusiasts are the fragmentation and complicate the process of buying real goods and services with cryptocurrency. This usually takes a lot of time and effort, not even mentioning the expenses that come with it. Cryptassist comes with the claim that they are going to change this “game” and make life easier – from a pre-paid debit card that will work with 50 different cryptocurrencies up to multi-coin browser that would keep records of your crypto activities.

But first, some details about the project itself and its technical background.

Cryptassist has DAG (Direct Acyclic Graph) based algorithm. Many believe that DAG is Blockchain 3.0, next generation. Bitcoin is known as 1.0 blockchain but Ethereum decentralized platform is referred as blockchain 2.0. With Bitcoin the block creation takes around 10 minutes for one, but with DAG Cryptassist’s block time will be 30 sec claims its creators.

For comparison – here are current transaction times for several known projects:

Bicoin has 7-8 transactions per sec

Ethereum has 20 transactions per sec

IOTA has 500-800 transactions per sec

PayPal has 193 transactions per sec

Impressive is the transaction speed of Cryptassist that will be 3500 TPS (transactions per sec)!

Features and possibilities of Cryptassist

There are more than 20 different feature on this platform but we would like to highlight a few of them. The first is Cryptassist Debit Card that many of cryptocurrencies enthusiasts definitely would like to see asap. What is the promise from Cryptassist team? – “Members will be able to convert their cryptocurrencies into CTA that will conveniently be converted to fiat and put directly onto an exclusive prepaid debit card. The debit card may be used like any other debit card, anywhere that Visa and Mastercard are accepted, at ATMs around the world and for online and offline purchases.” Sounds good enough! Crytassist plans to introduce pre-paid debit cards after the end of ICO, which is planned around mid-August, as they confirmed this on July 28th, 2018. Let’s follow up in the next month and see how far they have gone with this plan.

Second important feature in our opinion is the Cryptassist Multi-Coin Block Explorer that would “save users valuable time and effort by eliminating the need to use multiple blockchain explorers to search for the transaction histories of multiple coins.” Again – a really excellent feature that would be useful for those who are in cryptocurrency market hunting for good coins, investing and looking for bounty and airdrop programs. Cryptassist team plans to open the alpha version of this in Q3 of 2018 and later in Q4 a mobile app is planned.

Besides these two, there are many more features. For example, another exchange platform but with reduced fees for CTA trades and OTC (over-the-counter) where Cryptassist will function as an escrow service. Both are planned to be introduced in Q3 of 2018. There is another promising idea that is called Cryptstarter – “an innovative cryptocurrency crowdfunding feature which will allow users to raise funds for creative projects.”

Right now the team has announced that some cryptocurrencies will be excluded due to processing complications. This includes USDT, IOTA, BitShares, Mixin, Cortex, MaidSafeCoin, Huobi, Token, Factom, WaykiChain, Electroneum, GXChain, and Steem. Any additional exclusions will be listed on the Cryptassist website.

Overall project looks promising and with useful features, we will come with a follow-up and a review, when the team of Cryptassist opens alpha versions of applications.

Donations –  2% of all ICO funds

After the ICO, Cryptassist will be donating 1% of the funds raised during the ICO to project One Tree Planted – reforesting the planet. because of the massive amounts of electricity used on cryptocurrency coin mining every year and want to help offset that carbon footprint through reforesting the planet.

Cryptassist also wants to focus their efforts with One Tree Planted in Indonesia, in the region of Borneo where more than 74 million hectares of Indonesian Rainforest got lost in the last 50 years.

And the other 1% will be donated to Ocean Conservation Organization.

Conclusion

Overall a promising project, although little complicated because of the different tools involved. But advisors and team give some peace that they know what they are doing.
