HUAWEI CLOUD (BCS) is Live and Available for Global Use
HUAWEI CLOUD which officially launched its Blockchain Service (BCS) for commercial use in China last month has announced the official launching of the service for global use. According to the announcement, the platform became available for global commercial use on November 15, 2018. To access the platform, the user will need to visit the global section of the HUAWEI CLOUD website.

The HUAWEI CLOUD Blockchain Service (BCS) has been described as a service aimed at helping developers and enterprises all over the world create, deploy, manage as well as manage blockchain application at a fraction of the cost they would normally pay for such.
The BCS cloud service is designed to integrate and capitalize on the advantages offered by the “HUAWEI CLOUD’s container and security technologies, among others.”
Based on the announcement, the cloud service is one of the easiest and most efficient one of its kind in the market right now. The service can also be used in several fields such as finance, data applications, Internet of Things (IoT). The announcement also made it known that it can be used in any of the following scenarios: “data transactions, identity authentication, proof of information (such as real estate and education), remote healthcare, food source tracing, the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), and IoT device management.”
According to a press release describing the HUAWEI CLOUD (BCS), major functions, It was stated that:

Huawei is a Major Contributor to Blockchain Technology
Huawei, which has been recognised as a key Hyperledger maintainer, and the only maintainer from Asia in some of the networks sub-projects, joined the Linux Foundation-backed, open source blockchain project as far back as 2016.
Since then Huawei has played a major by continuously providing “technical and code contributions in two sub-projects, Fabric and STL.”
