Several Crypto Exchanges to Support BitTorrent’s First Airdrop

A recent report wrote Justin Sun, the Chief Executive Officer of BitTorrent Foundation has announced to both the Tron (TRX) and crypto communities via twitter that there will be a BitTorrent (BTT) airdrop and the first one is scheduled to take place on the 11th of February this year.

BitTorrent To Initiate its first Airdrop on February 11th, 2019

Sun wrote that:
“On February 11th, 2019, the BitTorrent Foundation will initiate its first airdrop of BitTorrent $BTT to the TRON $TRX holders.”

Based on a recent report concerning the cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets which will be supporting the airdrop, OKEx has reportedly announced that it will be supporting BitTorrent by taking a snapshot of the Tron network at 6,600,000 which is to occur on 11th of February. It will then perform the airdrop for all TRX holders. The exchange also included the following important information in the announcement:

  1. Users who deposited their TRX in the OK Piggy Bank will also receive the airdrop;
  2. For margin traders who have an outstanding balance of TRX, they will also have to repay the BTT to the lender after the airdrop. Please repay the TRX before the airdrop if you do not wish to worry about the BTT repayment afterwards.
    Also, the team at Binance has reportedly announced that they also will be filling all TRX balances at a block height of 6,600,000 on the Tron blockchain.
    On all exchanges, the ratio for distribution is 1 TRX to 0.11BTT for the first airdrop. Houbi exchange has also made it known that they will be in support of the BTT token drop.
