Forte and Ripple Partners to Form a $100 Million Fund focused on Mainstream Blockchain Game Development
The recently launched, blockchain gaming startup Forte has announced a major partnership with Ripple’s
Forte to Collaborate with Industry Expert on the Ripple Funded Project
Forte which is a brainchild of Kevin Chou, who led Kabam in mobile games and Gen.G in esports, will be collaborating with industry experts such as Brett Seyler, will be developing a platform designed for the adoption of blockchain technologies for new and existing games.
Although, Forte hasn’t announced its own funding yet,
Ripple Will Provide All the Funds
According to the announcement, it was revealed that Ripple will provide all of the $100 million to fund developers of games using DLT. It was also revealed that fund will operate alongside Forte’s platform technologies and include open-source solutions designed in collaboration with Ripple to accelerate the mainstream adoption of blockchain technology in gaming.
Brett Seyler, the chief platform officer at Forte, in a statement stated that:
