OKEx Crowned the “Crypto Exchange of the Year”
OKex, the second largest Crypto Exchange in the world in terms of trading volume has beaten top crypto exchanges such as Binance and BitBay to cling the title of the “Crypto Exchange of the Year”. The award was presented to the exchange at the Malta Blockchain Summit’s Blockchain Awards.
OKEx has a Proof of Hard work
OKEx has made it known that this award is a proof its hard work. The report has made it known that the choice to give OKEx this award was made by a panel of 32 personalities who served as jurors. It should, however, be noted that OKEx has recently just moved its base of operation to the country.
Malta has so far established itself as the most crypto conducive country in the world. It has also been reported that this award ceremony is one of the country’s way of establishing itself an international reference when it comes to the adoption of the blockchain technologies and cryptocurrency.
The idea behind the Awards Ceremony according to the report is to recognize the companies, experts, and leaders who made an outstanding contribution to the blockchain technology development in Malta.
OKEx is Happy to Win
The Head of Operations at OKEx, Andy Cheung has expressed his happiness as regards winning the award. He made it known that the company will not relent in its effort to further the advancement of cryptocurrency in the country.
He went on to say that
“These awards are particularly gratifying as they reflect a vote of confidence from industry leaders, who recognize our ongoing efforts. As we said, we dare to innovate and will keep pushing the limits of what is possible,”
Cheung also made it known that the exchange will be expanding its base of operation soon enough with offices in more location to launch soon.
